Seating arrangements

If you're planning to have a 'sit-down' ceremony, you have to arrange the seatings for your guests! It may sound easy to do but trust me, if you have so many relatives, friends, family friends and colleagues, trying to think where to sit them is tiring and complicated! You also need to consider about your friends who just had a recent break up with another friend of yours.. so you can't possibly sit them together right? If you want both of them to come, you have to put them in different tables. Also, if you have a friend who doesn't know anyone else during the wedding, where should you sit him/her?
Basically before you jot down the names of people per table (normally 10 each), you have to know whether they are your family/friend/colleague.. are any of them interconnected? E.g. probably your friend knows one of your family members so you can sit them together.. Or perhaps your friend is a friend of your colleague as well.. so those kind of things must be considered. And again, make sure that they don't have issues together. But if you plan to make them 'make up', then be my guest, put them together. As long as they don't spoil your wedding, all will be well :)
If you don't feel like making your own list of 'Seating Assignment'. I got mine from budgetplannersoftware.com/worksheets.html. Don't worry, it's free! Just search under 'Seating Arrangements'. There are a bunch of other handy checklists in the website. It's still pretty useful for us Malays eventhough it's more catered for Western marriages :)
